The series of eight exhibitions “Live with Style – Support Diversity” across eight cities in Macedonia, organized by the Equality Association, aims to tell a powerful story about spreading love through the celebration of human values through 31 portraits of people with disabilities.
The traveling exhibition is a cultural project, supported by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, with a mission to change society’s perception of people with disabilities, who are transformed from observers into initiators of social integration, positive changes and high human values.
Mission
The exhibition consists of 31 portraits of people with disabilities, each with unique abilities, a message and a life mission. Through a creative visual story about true strength, dignity and humanity, our brothers, sisters, friends or neighbors in front of the lens will speak very directly, breaking down interpersonal walls, breaking taboos and sending a strong message for a society that has the potential to live harmoniously, inclusively, consciously.
Originality, humanity, cohesion
This project will strive to overcome and strengthen cultural integration between different social groups, outside the capital city, precisely in smaller towns, throughout the country.
The Equality Association, as the project leader, sets an uncompromising standard for the affirmation and promotion of equal participation in cultural and social life in Macedonia.
Place of implementation
The official launch of the traveling exhibition will take place on August 3, 2025, at 6 p.m., at the Naum Naumovski Borche Cultural Center in Krusevo, symbolically in the spirit of Ilinden.
