The multicultural approach of inFusion – The Festival of Inclusion, since its establishment in 2022, serves as an original and attractive model for social cooperation and integration, inspired by marginalized groups of citizens for a comprehensive impact on the overall social and cultural development. The inspiring festival program encourages the participation of people of different social status and of different ages, fostering the approach of equal opportunities and promoting social inclusion as an integral process of modern living and the highest level of cultural values.
Mission
The Infusion Festival is a once a year event, initiated by the Equality Association, with the aim of fostering a cultural platform for broader socially integrative action in order to reduce discrimination and stigmatization, increase trust and empathy and motivation among all social participants. In the process, Equality includes local governments, the business sector and the Ministry of Culture, with the aim of positively and actively involving cultural institutions, which in the long term will contribute to the sustainability of the project results, contributing to a dynamic and overall cohesive development of culture, with the inclusion of all social participants.
Results
- The Republic of Macedonia – the first country in the region with an inclusive and integration cultural festival “inFusion – Festival of Inclusion” which brings together, unites and encourages new energy in the city and the country, through a variety of integration creative workshops, performances and content from fine arts, music and film that aim to continuously develop and promote culture in the country in various areas.
- Enriched cultural content in the country that encourages inclusiveness and integration of socially vulnerable categories as active participants through the direct participation of cultural institutions.
- People from the social margins – our new idols, perceived as independent and fairly treated, with the right to appropriate treatment, respect for their inherent human rights and a dignified life.
- Procreative and active raising of public awareness for socialization, reduced discrimination and stigmatization by society and institutions, thus enabling a more inclusive environment.
- Solidary and mutually cohesive social action through cultural activities, including the artistic field, as well as conferences, seminars, workshops, but also using modern methods of digital art, contemporary media, concerts and film screenings.
- Mission: Love, Strength, Freedom to create a socially responsible union between municipal authorities, community associations and the business sector.

The project is supported by the Municipality of Kisela Voda, the Ministry of Culture, ProCredit Bank, KB Prvo Penzisko Drustvo, EVN. Additionally, in the history of the festival, the Municipality of Aerodrom, private companies from the banking sector, the automotive industry, printing houses, service industries, etc. have also been partners.
