
The Equality Association organized a debate on the topic “Designing digital tools for people from vulnerable categories and people with disabilities”, which is part of the SIGNAL project and aims to encourage solutions in the digital world for greater independence and active inclusion of people with various disabilities.
Mission
Digital Inclusion is a short-term project, implemented within the framework of the long-term project SIGNAL and is being implemented in cooperation with the Vision Plus Association and with the support of the Municipality of Kisela Voda. The ultimate goal of the project is to create an application that will aim to respond to the needs of people from vulnerable categories, both in terms of accessing services from local authorities and at the central level.
Originality, humanity, cohesion
This project aims to stimulate debate on the topic of “Digital Inclusion” and to provide key recommendations for accessible digital tools and services for local and state services.
The debate, which took place on April 9, 2025 at the „Biljana Beličanec“ Cultural Center, covered the challenges of people with disabilities in the digital world, including the importance of technology as a key to better accessibility of digital and internet tools in offering public services to all citizens, as well as possible solutions for improving digital accessibility in the Municipality of Kisela Voda and opportunities for a replicable solution in the area of the City of Skopje and wider throughout Macedonia.
