The Equaliti Association, in collaboration with Stowarzyszenie Rozprawy o Europie and Ayuntamiento de Alzira, invites people with disabilities and social, health and educational professionals who work with young people with disabilities to participate in two international surveys to improve practices for working in those fields.
“I, You, We, They CAN” is an international project that introduces innovative practices and methodologies in the way social, medical and educational professionals approach, communicate, help and support young people with various disabilities – even in environments with underdeveloped infrastructure. The project also raises awareness among the public and policy makers, promoting the creation of an inclusive and encouraging environment that fosters independence, dignity and a better quality of life for people with disabilities.
As part of the research phase, we are conducting two international surveys to develop a practical Handbook for professionals working with young people with disabilities (PwD) aged 8–28, including people with special educational needs (SEN).
We invite you to participate and contribute to positive change:
Survey 1: For People with Disabilities (PwD)
Designed for young people (8–28), this survey collects personal experiences in the areas of education, health and social care. Family members or assistants can help with completion.
If you are a person with a disability – your voice matters! Share your experiences, needs and challenges – to help us better understand how professionals can support you more effectively.
Survey 2: For professionals
Open to educators, therapists, psychologists, social and medical workers and anyone else who works with people with disabilities. Share your professional experiences, practices and ideas for advancement.
If you are a social worker, medical professional, therapist, educator or special educator working with people with disabilities – your contribution is crucial! Help us improve the tools, methods and approaches you use in your daily work to make your support even more effective.
Your contribution will help create better support, encourage systemic social change, influence the development of international training, and strengthen inclusive practices at national and EU policy levels.
Deadline: September 10, 2025
