The First Collection of ZEN* Adaptive Appareal Was Promoted at the ZEN* Inclusive Soirée

The Association Equality and Zen Futurus LTD, with the support of the Macedonian Fashion Association, during yesterday, September 25th, on the recognizable terrace of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Skopje, expanded the horizons of the Skopje fashion culture, promoting high values of social inclusion and openness society through the ZEN Inclusive Soirée event.

The event ZEN Inclusive Soirée provided a unique cultural and fashion experience, in which 31 people with disabilities paraded in the fashion show presenting the first collection of ZEN* – Adaptive Wardrobe. This cultural event was complemented by a fine musical program, culinary delights and an exclusive exhibition of portraits of the people with a mission with social messages addressed to greater inclusion and comprehensive social responsibility.

The audience from the cultural and fashion world enjoyed the show, where 31 people with unique abilities proudly walked the catwalk, articulating their challenges and abilities, as well as promoting the need for their active social inclusion and improvement of the quality of life.

Through the fashion show, the ZEN brand was officially promoted, founded by the Equality Association and the ZEN Futurus company with a social missionto provide support to people with disabilities, to transform dressing process from frustration to pleasure, to influence the quality of life, self-confidence and raising the level of their life independence. In the creation of the collection, the main actors were the people with unique abilities, directly involved in the process of modeling and creating the collection of adapted wardrobe made to individual measure and given in full to these people.

The mission of the Inclusive Soirée was to promote faith in a higher purpose, to create an insurmountable positive energy that will break down barriers for the most vulnerable and marginalized, and to set an example of respect for mutual differences, by creating togetherness and creative solutions that lead to a better quality of life.

This event is supported by friends of ZEN: KIEL Sitze, EVN, Procredit Bank, Amigos Restaurants, Badel1862, Skopje Brewery.

The catering and serving was provided by secondary schools teams consisting of professors and students – DSU for Rehabilitation and Education “St. Naum Ohridski” and SSU “Lazar Tanev”, SUGS “Dimitar Vlahov” took care of hair and makeup, in cooperation with Pierre Cardin Cosmetics, MG ART, hair care brand Got2b and Schwarzkopf.
