Open call for participation in the third transnational camp “I, YOU, WE, THEY CAN” in Poland

Equality NGO in collaboration with Stowarzyszenie Rozprawy o Europie and Ayuntamiento de Alzira invites interested social, health and education professionals communicating, assisting and working with young people with disabilities, to apply for participation in the Third ‘I, YOU, WE THEY CAN’ Transnational Camp in Kielce, Poland. Over 5 working days, participants will engage in practical workshops and co-develop practices, using “learning by doing” methods. All participants will take part in interactive study visits of local organizations supporting and assisting people with disabilities, exchange best practices and gain fresh perspectives through dialogue with local professionals, people with disabilities and decision-makers.

ABOUT THE CAMP

This working camp is part of international KA210-YOU project “I, YOU, WE, THY CAN” implemented in partnership by Equality NGO (MKD), Stowarzyszenie Rozprawy o Europie (PL) and Ayuntamiento de Alzira (ESP). IYWTC project introduces innovative & inclusive practices and methodologies in approaching, communicating, assisting and working of social, medical and education professionals with young people with variable disabilities, even in circumstances of underdeveloped infrastructure, in all three partner countries– N.Macedonia, Poland, Spain. The focus is on equipping professionals with effective inclusive tools and approaches for communicating, assisting and working with youth with diverse disabilities. Central to this effort is the co-creation of the ‘Manual for Facilitation of Social, Medical, and Education Professionals in Working with Young People with Disabilities’, drawing directly from real-life experiences and collaborative learning.

Over 5 working days, participants will engage in practical workshops and co-develop practices, using “learning by doing” methods. All participants will take part in interactive study visits of local organizations supporting and assisting people with disabilities, exchange best practices and gain fresh perspectives through dialogue with local professionals, people with disabilities and decision-makers.

✍️ WHY PARTICIPATE?

This transnational camp will bring:

  • – cross-sector collaboration for improving social, health and educational services in approaching, communicating, assisting and working with young people with various disabilities in an inclusive way;
  • – equipping participants with hand-on-hand skills and methodologies;
  • – space for professional and cultural exchange and creating lasting impact by sharing good innovative practices;

📢 WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

We are looking for 2 motivated professionals working with young people with disabilities in social, medical and health sector from Macedonia / Poland / Spain who are eager to contribute to the exchange of experiences and practices.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

– Accommodation, travel, and expected costs will be covered by the project for all selected participants from partner countries.

– Accessibility will be ensured at all venues.
