The exhibition held on November 6 at the Nikola Jonkov Vapcarov Cultural Center in Delchevo concluded the cycle of traveling exhibitions within the project "Live with Style - Support Diversity", organized by the Equality Association, supported by the Ministry of Culture. Delchevo, as the seventh and final city, hosted this unique cultural initiative and with 32 portraits of people with disabilities, managed to tell the story of strength, inspiration and human values.
The journey of 32 portraits began on Ilinden in Krusevo, and was then displayed in Gevgelija, Resen, Veles, Kriva Palanka, Sveti Nikole, as well as Delchevo, leaving a deep mark in each environment, carrying with it the power of diversity as a driving motivation for a better society.
“With the completion of this series of exhibitions, we send the powerful message that every person has their place in culture and art. We are proud that through art we are able to sent a message that culture is inclusive and equality throughout the country is an important mission, for which we will continue to advocate in the future.” – said Ružica Stojanovska, project coordinator at the Equality Association.
The traveling exhibition does not end here. In December, during the New Year’s party organized by the Equality Association, the final exhibition will be held in Skopje, which will once again display all 32 portraits and offer a new visual and emotional experience for the citizens of the capital, who will be part of the celebration of art, humanity and diversity, as well as an opportunity to unite in one place participants, supporters and lovers of high cultural and social values.
With this, “Live in Style – Support Diversity” not only completes its journey through Macedonia, but also lays the foundation for future initiatives that will continue to promote equality, art, and social solidarity.
