Skopje, 6 July 2026 – Equality Association successfully organized the art workshop “Breathe in Art”, held as part of the “Magic of Prespa” project, bringing together 10 participants for a creative and inspiring artistic experience.
“Breathe in Art” was designed as a creative art activity through which participants used various visual art techniques to express themselves, drawing inspiration from the natural beauty and cultural heritage of the Prespa region while developing their own artistic expression through free creative practice.
The workshop was led by artist Sandra Begović, who encouraged participants to explore their creativity and create artworks inspired by the natural landscapes and cultural heritage of the Prespa region. Throughout the workshop, participants engaged in an atmosphere of free expression, collaboration, and exchange of ideas, resulting in a collection of unique artistic creations.
“We truly enjoyed the workshop, which encouraged participants to overcome their fears and hesitations about self-expression, to fully relax in the creative process, and to breathe in the spirit of their own creative potential,” said Sandra Begović, the workshop facilitator.
Participants described the workshop as an exceptionally inspiring experience, highlighting that activities like this encourage creativity, relaxation, and new ways of experiencing both nature and the community.
“This was a truly special experience. It gave me the freedom to express myself and create something of my own, inspired by nature,” shared one of the participants.
The “Breathe in Art” workshop is part of the “Magic of Prespa” project, which aims to promote the natural, cultural, and tourism values of the Prespa region through creative and educational activities. The project encourages sustainable development, greater environmental awareness, and active community involvement in preserving the region’s local heritage.
Through inclusive and socially impactful initiatives, Equality Association continues to create opportunities for creative expression, connection, and active civic participation.
