On September 25, at the premises of the Municipality of Kisela Voda, in the presence of Mayor Orce Gjorgjievski and representatives of the Equality Association, a meeting was held to present the conceptual solution for the "Equality Park".
The conceptual solution for the park, which will be synonymous with the highest standards in urban planning, was presented by the authors of the project solution, representatives of the KONNTRA architectural studio and the Equality Association.
The project will offer a new iconic, urban space for recreation, interaction with nature, educational content for the youngest, and will also promote innovative accessibility standards for all citizens, including people with disabilities.
Positioned at an infrastructurally significant location in the Municipality of Kisela Voda, behind the Tobacco Factory, an urban area that borders and is directly connected by arterial roads to the municipalities of Aerodrom and Centar.
It is planned that the second phase of the project, preparation of the construction decision, will begin in the coming period, and the construction of the park will begin no later than a month later.
The “Equality Park” project aims to create the highest standards in equalizing access to urban spaces, including people with disabilities, encouraging creativity among children and youth through learning and awareness with play, relaxation and integrative corners, and will be implemented in cooperation with the Equality Association and the Municipality of Kisela Voda and is financially supported by the Embassy of the Republic of Poland within the framework of the “Polish Aid” program.
