The Association for the Affirmation of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities – Equality organizes the first festival of inclusion and art, which will be held on Monday, October 24, at “Trend Gastro Bar” in the Municipality of Aerodrom.
The festival aims to introduce new cultural and artistical content to City of Skopje and introduce the audience to the creativity and art of people with disabilities, and to provide all interested performers and exhibitors with a platform where they can present their creativity in all artistic fields. forms: from art and music to performance and applied art.
The main goal is the social integration of people with disabilities through the promotion of their abilities, as well as reducing the social gap and maintaining cohesion.

The festival program starts at 12:00 with “Integration Workshop for Creative Expression for people with and without disabilities”. The workshop will last 3 hours, and starting from 4:00 pm the “Workshop for Developing Communication Skills through socializing with people with vision and hearing impairment” will kick-off.
For all enjoyers of fun and beautiful energy, from 7:00pm to 8:00pm an inclusive dance performance – “Reflection” performed by the “Eureka” dance studio will be initiating the Evening Music Program. After the performance, the musical program supported by the pianist Emma Ananievska begins, followed by a performance by the inclusive choir lead by Trisomia 21 and Kolektiv Veternica.
This first original “Festival of Inclusion” will be supported by Igor Dzambazov and many other musical stars.
The “Festival of Inclusion” aspires to grow into a tradition by promoting ways to create an inclusive atmosphere and participating in the creation of an inclusive cultural policy of our community, in the search for new strategies for the inclusion and integration of different marginalized groups of children and youth.
